Hello ACAC members!

We hope you are having a great start to the summer! We have some exciting opportunities to share:

1. We have 4 ACA presentation slots that need to be filled (One 90 minute, One 60 Minute, and Two poster presentations) and we want you to fill them. If you are interested, please complete the following proposal form found at:

Proposals are due: JUNE 17th at 5pm ET. Also, presenters can have their name on only ONE submission. We are excited to be able to offer this opportunity to our membership this year! Please submit proposals ASAP!

2. We are looking for volunteers to help review presentation proposals in the following weeks after they have been submitted. This should be a quick and easy job, but we need some help. If you are willing to volunteer your time, please complete this form:

MISSION
The mission of ACAC is to promote a greater awareness, advocacy, and understanding of children and adolescents, as defined as the ages from birth to adolescents, among members of the counseling profession and related helping fields; advance developmentally appropriate prevention and intervention strategies for counseling children and adolescents; provide professional development activities to improve education and training of counselors who work  with children and adolescents; and disseminate educational and professional materials with the purpose of raising the standards of practice for children and adolescents in counseling, psychotherapy, and mental health.

The Association for Child and Adolescent Counseling is committed to the principle that all children and adolescents (ages birth through adolescence) have equal access to a full array of mental health services, regardless of ability to pay or insurance coverage.
