Annual Virtual Conference:
Now Accepting Proposals!
The Association for Child and Adolescent Counseling (ACAC) is pleased to share that we will be holding a virtual conference in February. This conference theme will be Healing Young Hearts: Trauma-Informed Care for Children. We are inviting professionals and graduate students to propose sessions for this conference. The sessions will be presented live, as well as recorded for participants who are unavailable for the live session.
ACAC will only accept programs received through this online portal. Proposals for webinars must be submitted by October 31st, 2026, at 11:50 pm EST to be considered.

We’re excited to share that we have officially launched the Certificate in Foundations of Child and Adolescent Counseling—a collaborative project between ACA and the Association for Child and Adolescent Counseling (ACAC).
This initiative has been years in the making and represents a significant step forward in helping counselors build confidence in evidence-based, developmentally appropriate, and foundational approaches to working with children and adolescents. The certificate features eight on-demand webinars led by leading experts in the field, covering topics such as play therapy foundations, trauma-informed care, executive functioning skills training, multicultural responsiveness,
and school-based supports.
The program is open to all counselors, with discounted registration rates available for ACA and ACAC members.
